The four newly elected Sea Isle City Board of Education Members ran on the platform of doing what is best for the children in the community. They said the "best" would be to close our school and send our children to Ocean City Schools. They made these promises before they investigated whether Ocean City would take our children and before they examined the laws that require a receiving district to take our teachers as well. (You can read more about that law on our in the "News" page.) The letters below are the repsonse that were received from the Ocean City Board of Education. Also, please scroll to the end to see one of the campaign mailers that the newly elected board members sent out saying that is where they want to send our children.
